Foreign Policy
Making a Difference
Foreign policy is a very important because it is crucial to maintain a good relationship with the rest of the world, and our alliance with the United Nations. Recent presidents of our great nation have refused to play a major role in the Syrian war, but have welcomed Syrian immigrants. I have very different plans...
When I become president of Brunello, I will tighten the borders of our nation in order to prevent any immigrants from entering, because there is currently no way of knowing who might be a threat. Most immigrants who want to enter our country have no passports or paperwork, which could identify who they are. Most only have the “clothes on their backs”. How are we to distinguish between an honest immigrant and a terrorist? We have to keep all of them out until better methods of identification can be implemented. I would also push for more involvement in the war because we are capable of aiding our allies. If we engaged in this war and defeated the Syrians and their allies, we could then deploy our military in these areas to provide leadership and support. It angers me how our country is one of the most prominent powers of Europe, but we have been in the background of all of the action, allowing our allies to struggle.
